Zack J. Deno

Zack J. Deno, 28, of Greencastle, gained his wings on July 16, 2021.

He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, friend and the BEST rib smoker.

Born Jan. 25, 1993 in Des Moines, Iowa, he was the son of Alan J. Deno and Hope (Bauer) Main.

He was a 2021 graduate of Southmont High School.

Zack was a truck driver working for Deno Trucking. He had previously worked for Cheeseman Trucking and USF Holland Trucking.

He is survived by his father, Alan (Vicki) Deno; his mother, Hope (Josh) Main; his wife, Erika Deno; his children, Ayden Deno, Harbor Deno and Nova Jean Deno; sisters Abbi (PJ) Boyd, Michaela (Taylor Lester) Deno and Taylor (Bear) Stevenson; his grandparents; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, who all loved him very much.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 23 at New Life Baptist Church, 51 Ridgeway St. Greencastle. Interment will follow at the Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. on Friday until time of service at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made in Zack’s memory to the Children’s Organ Transplant Assn., 2501 Cota Drive, Bloomington, IN.
