Endeavor Communications made a substantial donation to the Putnam County Cancer Center in the fall of 2020.

The donation was used to buy three specialized chairs for the cancer center patients. On July 8, the chairs were utilized for the first time by patients.

“The PCH Cancer Center is grateful for the kind and generous donation from Endeavor Communications to purchase new infusion chairs for our patients,” Cancer Center Manager Angie Davis said.

The new chairs have safety features such as locking wheels, side compartment opening, remote reclining and heat-and-massage.

“Besides adding extra comfort to our patients’ time during infusions, these chairs serve as an important way to meet our Commission on Cancer (CoC) accreditation goal for 2021 that was voted on by our Cancer Committee,” Davis also noted.

The goal is the have these chairs placed in each bay of the cancer center.
