A new music boutique at 5 W. Franklin St., Greencastle, #harmony will host a grand opening on Friday, Aug. 6, in conjunction with the Greencastle First Friday event.

The event will include music and refreshments as well as deals on apparel, accessories, home items and gifts and musical performance supplies.

#harmony is a new music boutique offering men and women’s apparel, accessories, gift and home items and a large variety of musician performance supplies such as strings, reeds, picks, mouthpieces and sticks.

Joining Greencastle’s musical community, owner Tammy Keenan hope to support and encourage all of those with a love for music.

Keenan also hopes #harmony is a space that will contribute to Greencastle’s cultural growth and offer a place to purchase needed items as well as those that you just can’t live without. The store will also offer musical artists an opportunity to get some street performance experience just outside the shop. All are welcome to perform.

“This event is for anyone who is interested in music,” Keenan said. “The store is small, but has a large commitment to supporting all music lovers in the Greencastle community. Regardless of your musical interest or level of performing, #harmony will be a place you frequently visit for your musical needs.”

The event will take place on the north side of the courthouse square from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Musician Kelley Isenhower will be performing just outside the store from 4-6:30 p.m.
