On Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021, we unexpectedly lost Tina Maria (Boswell) Watkins, age 57.

Tina is survived by David Paul Watkins, her loving husband of 35 years. They were married on Sept. 21, 1985 in West Middleton, Ind.

Tina is loving remembered by her four children, Daniel Nicole (Yates), Stephanie Dawn (Wilson), Crystal Lynn (Dorman) and David Michael Watkins; seven grandchildren, Kaleb, Rowan, Amaris, Luca, Joshua, Melody and Aspen; her parents, Larry Ray and Sandra Jean Boswell; and her siblings, Cynthia Kay (Marsh) and Brian Tad Boswell.

She was born Dec. 2, 1963 in Greencastle.

She graduated from Western High School in 1982 and went on to study Bible/missions at Barclay College in 1982-83 and counseling/psychology at Grace College in 1983-85.

Tina loved God, her family and serving. Among her passions, Tina ministered as a teacher to Navajo natives in New Mexico and at the Center for Women’s Ministries in Cloverdale. She extended the love of Jesus to everyone she met and served Him faithfully.

Tina had one goal in life — to be someone who delights God. She was a bookaholic and she loved writing, teaching, collecting cute penguins, telling cheesy jokes and puns and counting down the days until Christmas. She loved every moment she got to spend with her children and grandchildren.

A celebration of life is set for 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4 at Clinton Falls Community Church, 5975 W. CR 375 North, Greencastle.

The family requests no flowers and that all donations go to the Center for Women’s Ministries, 404 N. Main St., Cloverdale, IN 46120.
