Janet Kay Kersey

Janet Kay Kersey, 83, of Greencastle, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021 at Asbury Towers.

Janet was born in Greencastle on Aug. 11, 1938, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Simmerman) Allee.

She was a 1956 graduate of Greencastle High School.

Survivors include her three children, Brian J. Bullerdick (wife Donna), New Market, Brenda Leighton (husband Jon), Hobe Sound, Fla., and Bruce Bullerdick (Janine), Bloomington; eight grandchildren, Brianna, Paige, Abbey, Risty, Charlie, Fred, Kathryn and Kelly; and four great-grandchildren, Seth, Bella Adeline, Ridley and Luca.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ross Kersey; and a sister, Barbara.

At her request a private family service will take place at a later date with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.
