Arts Patrons

Thursday, September 2, 2021
The Mary Allison Children’s Trust recently presented a $200 check to Greencastle Middle School visual art teacher Amy Robinson (second from left). On hand for the presentation are Ginger Scott (left), Mary Allison treasurer; GMS students Braden Monroe, Jacob Simmerman and Tristan Norman and Mike Goss, vice president. Scott and Gross make the presentation to Mrs. Robinson and her students for the Art Textile Project. “Integrating the arts into all parts of the curriculum gives students the opportunity to engage in creative problem solving as well as self-expression. This grant enables kids to apply abstract knowledge of circuitry into a real world application,” Robinson said. The funds were awarded for the project in the 2020-21 second semester grant cycle. The 2021-22 First Semester Grant Cycle runs until Sept. 17. Schools wishing to apply for a project application may email gscott@wabashcapital, call 655-2333 or contact any board member.
