Connie Leigh Cooper

Connie Leigh Cooper, 64, Loveland, Colo., originally from Cloverdale, was the daughter of Dale Benson and Jackie Hays and the loving mother to Brandon, Tawny, and Mariah.

She was also survived by her siblings, Lisa, Donita and Rob.

After battling frontotemporal dementia for more than 10 years, Connie was finally able to dance her way into heaven and be with the Lord on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021.

Connie was a lifelong caregiver who always offered her hand to anyone in need. She loved to dance, play music, and to spend every moment with the ones who meant the most to her.

She was a devoted follower of Christ and used the Bible as her life’s guide.

A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 18 at 3 p.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale.
