Eleanor ‘Kay’ Greeson
Eleanor “Kay” Greeson, 84, Fillmore, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021 peacefully at St. Vincent Hospital.
Kay was born on May 11, 1937 in Coatesville to Raleigh Greenlee and Fern Warmoth Greenlee.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Jim Greeson, parents and siblings.
She is survived by two sons, Steve Greeson and Dale Greeson; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Kay graduated from Amo High School in 1955 then Indiana State University with a teaching degree.
Kay retired from North Putnam School Corporation after teaching for 36 years. When Kay wasn’t teaching, she could be found watching any kind of sport on TV.
She enjoyed quilting and cross-stitching. She was involved in a quilt club and a member of Fillmore Christian Church.
Calling with be held from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 28 with services at 1 p.m. at the Bousley Funeral Home, Coatesville. Pastor Nathan Couch will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Coatesville Cemetery.
