Brent L. Nichols

Brent Nichols, 63, of Fillmore, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021

Brent was born on Oct. 28, 1957 in Greencastle, to Ralph E. and Betty M. (Comer) Nichols.

He was a lifelong mechanic who could fix just about anything. He enjoyed being in nature and roaming around the woods hunting for ginseng and mushrooms. He also enjoyed music, playing guitar and attending open mic nights at Fountain Square in Indianapolis.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph E. Nichols, and his brother, Scott “Potsy” Nichols.

He is survived by his mother, Betty M. Nichols, daughter Deanna L. Nichols, son Kevin L. Nichols (Julie), son James E. Nichols, sister Rebecca S. Powell (Grant), brother Barry W. Nichols, sister E. Amber Ternet (Adam), six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at Fillmore Cemetery on Saturday, Oct. 9 at 11:30 a.m.
