Honoring Vernon Jordan

As part of the festivities leading up to the inauguration of Lori White as DePauw University’s new president, the campus community honored one of its own Thursday afternoon with its newest dormitory being named in honor of 1957 graduate Vernon Jordan Jr. Jordan, who passed away last March, was distinguished as a civil rights leader and executive and earned recognition from numerous institutions.

  • Actually north of the “old” Hogate Hall. Sits at corner of S. locust and Olive St.
