Pedal Putnam

As an overcast sky looms overhead, riders take off on the 62- and 40-mile portions of the Pedal Putnam bike race Saturday morning at Big Walnut Sports Park. The gray skies would soon prove prescient, as a downpour soon swept through the area shortly after the 12-mile race started. Even with rains continuing for much of the morning, more than 90 races finished between the three different distances of the race.
