Ruth Ann Sallier

Ruth Ann Sallier, 82, of Cloverdale, left this earth to go to her heavenly home on Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021.

She was born in Fort Wayne on Jan. 4, 1939 to Malcolm and Geraldine Didion.

She was employed at GTE in Fort Wayne, Angola and Terre Haute. She retired in 1991 after 26 years. She was also a volunteer EMT for Putnam County Operation Life Ambulance Service for 10 years. She then became employed for Dr. Scamahorn for 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stan Sallier; parents Malcolm and Geraldine Didion; son Brent Ringler; and brother Richard Didion.

She is survived by a brother, Ray Didion (Pat) of LaPorte; daughter Tammy Wright (Steve) of Renner, S.D., son Rance Ringler of Daytona Beach, Fla.; stepson John Sallier and stepdaughter Patricia Sallier of Fort Wayne; grandson Derrick Ringler (Dejah) of Parker City; two granddaughters, Megan Palmer (Scott) of Indianapolis and Chalyn Ringler of Palm Bay, Fla.; two great-grandsons, Haytham Palmer of Indianapolis and Jon Wright of Renner, S.D.; two step-great-grandsons, Trayan and Trystan Ringler of Parker City; two great-granddaughters, Ivory Ringler of Parker City and Meredith Palmer of Indianapolis; sister-in-law Mary Didion of Fort Wayne; and numerous nieces and nephews.

No services are scheduled, as cremation has been requested.

Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
