Principal Rodney Simpson and Laurie Hensley’s second-grade class at Bainbridge Elementary School surprised residents at Mill Pond Mill Pond Health Campus recently with a walking mini Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.

A project-based learning opportunity, students used Ozobot robots from the Putnam County Extension office to code and design a parade route.

The project was made possible with a grant from the Bainbridge Lions Club.
