Robert Wayne ‘Bob’ Taylor

Robert Wayne “Bob” Taylor, 61, of Greencastle, passed away on Monday, Dec. 6, 2021.

Born Oct. 2, 1960 in Greencastle, he was the son of Virgil Burl Jr. and Marilyn (Eichhorst) Taylor.

He was a 1979 graduate of Greencastle High School.

Bob received his bachelor’s degree in science from Indiana State University.

Bob was retired, having worked at HOP Communications and DePauw University.

He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Gary Taylor.

Bob is survived by his wife, Margaret “Maggie” (Giesen) Taylor; his mother, Marilyn Taylor; sisters Doreen (Terry) Phillips, Sherri (Tony) Parker and Stacy (Jamie) Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021 at New Life Baptist Church, 51 Ridgeway St. Greencastle. Cremation services will follow.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. on Saturday until time of service at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Bob to the donor’s favorite charity.
