McColgin - 50th Anniversary

Brent and Cozette McColgin will celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Dec. 18.

They were married Dec. 18, 1971 at White Chapel United Methodist Church near Canton, Ill.

Both graduated from the University of Indianapolis, where they met.

Brent worked in banking for 41 years for Tri-County Bank and Trust in Roachdale, serving as president of the bank from 1995 to 2019. Cozette taught elementary education for 38 years in the North West Hendricks School Corporation for 38 years, retiring 2010.

In retirement, both have enjoyed volunteer service in the community and church, traveling when possible and visiting grandchildren.

Brent and Cozette have two children: Dr. Tara Dutta (Dr. Anand Dutta) of York, Pa., and Todd McColgin (Amanda McColgin) of Roachdale. They have four grandchildren: Divya Dutta, Jyoti Dutta, Sonal Dutta and Jade Ench.
