Tami Lee Maslyk

Tami Lee Maslyk, 57, of Carmel, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022 at her home after battling cerebellum atrophy for the past four years. When she got Covid at the beginning of the week, her long battle came to an end, and Heaven received a special angel.

Tami worked as a stewardess for many years before owning and operating her own business in her pizza truck in Carmel, where she lived with her only child, Halee Jo Maslyk.

Tami was born on March 15, 1964 to parents David Stigler and Phyllis L. Owens.

Tami is survived by her daugher, Halee Jo Maslyk of Carmel, brother Jay Owens of Greencastle, sister-in-law Tina Owens of Greencastle and 10 sisters, Linda (Ronnie) Harrison of Eubank, Ky., Lana (Joseph) Bilbery of Chandler, Ariz., Kathy Meece of Somerset, Ky., Debbie (Lanny) Applegate of Plainfield, Judy (Brent) Clark of Roachdale, Melany Sandman of Columbia City, Kate Simmons of Trafalgar, Pam (Kris) Henthorn of Trafalgar, Lorie (Kendall) Bielko of Columbia City and Sheila (Shane) Whitton of Greenwood.

Tami was preceded in death by both parents, one sister, Donna Jean, and one brother, Mike Owens.

Arrangements are being handled by Shirley Brothers of Indianapolis.
