Lip Service

The final two teams in the Putnam County Youth Development Commission (PCYDC) second-annual Lip Sync Battle will represent Teacher’s Credit Union and the Merkel family. TCU is represented by Kevin Spear, Michael Aper, Isaiah Wallace, Shawna Young and Alex Higgins.

Meanwhile, the Merkel family is represented by (clockwise from top left) Emma Harrison, Donnie Hott, Brooke Mourey and Linda Merkel, the twice-retired director of PCYDC. The event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 12 at the Putnam County Fairgrounds Community Building. Other teams in this year’s competition will represent Putnam County law enforcement, Central Elementary, Shuee’s Great Buys Plus, The Warehouse, Cummins, the agricultural community and Green Room Salon & Spa. Teams have committed to raising a minimum of $2,000 for PCYDC.
