DePauw wins team title at Rose-Hulman; Pasch breaks 400 record

Led by five individual wins, DePauw totaled 147 points and won the five-team Friday Night Spikes hosted by Rose-Hulman.

Erin Pasch was a double-winner for the Tigers in the the 60-meter hurdles (9.31) and with a school record in the 400 meters (1:00.36). Pasch was second in the high jump (1.47m/4-9.75) and 200 meters (26.83).

Abby Hartman won the high jump (1.47m/4-9.75), while Sophie Porter took first in the mile run (5:33.32) and Meredith Sierpina paced the 3,000 meters field (10:54.74).

Including Porter's win in the mile, the Tigers totaled 27 points in the event as Emma Jacobs was second (5:35.62) followed by Rachel DeLancey in third (5:36.00), Kate Hennessey in fifth (5:40.99) and Lily Monnett in sixth (5:42.01).

Maddie Perry was second in the 3,000 meters (11:50.58) and Brynn Urban was third as the Tigers took the top three spots. Annalise Grammel was second in the 400 meters (1:02.31) and third in the 200 meters (28.00) with Alexis Cagan fifth in the 400 (1:04.82) and Seelye Stoffregen fourth in the 200 (28.10).

The Tigers collected 13 points in the weight throw including a third-place finish by Mady Altman (11.24m/36-10.5), Bree Mahoney-Sutherland in fourth (11.18m/36-8.25), Reanna Stiehler in fifth (11.13m/36-6.25) and Brianna Wagner in sixth (10.79m/35-5).

Mahoney-Sutherland placed second in the shot put (11.43m/37-6) with Stiehler fourth (9.48m/31-1.25) and Altman sixth (9.15m/30-00.25). Katie McKinley was fourth in the 60 meters (8.50).

DePauw returns to action on Friday, February 4, when it hosts the Tiger Small College Invitational at 6 p.m.

In addition, Pasch has been selected North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Indoor Track and Field Sprints & Hurdles Athlete of the Week.

Pasch led the Tigers to a first-place finish in the five-school meet as she won the 400-meter dash in a school-record time of 1:00.36. She also won the 60-meter hurdles in 9.31 seconds, was second in the 200 meters in 26.83 seconds and second in the high jump at 1.47 meters/4-9.75.
