Gary Henry Jones

Gary Henry Jones, 76, of Greencastle, passed away on Monday, Feb. 7, 2022.

Gary was born Feb. 9, 1945 in Jamestown, Tenn.

Gary was a long time mechanic and had owned H & G Motors, which was renamed to Jones Garage. The business was a garage, body shop and car lot for more than 45 years. His son Daniel now owns Jones Garage, LLC.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margie; and a daughter, Sherrie Fenwick.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Patricia Ann Jones; his son, Daniel Jones and wife Becky; a brother, Danny Jones; his son-in-law, Steve Fenwick; six grandchildren, Brandi Ridgway and husband Jason, Jessica Jones, Anthony Fenwick and wife Lindsey, Andrew Fenwick, Acacia Reed and Shelby Reed and wife Courtney; nine great-grandchildren, Justice, Taylor, Arianna, June, Molly, Raegan, Eve, Bentley and Tyson; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 11 at 2 p.m. at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
