DePauw issues spectator update for February 16 basketball games

Tuesday, February 15, 2022

DePauw is limiting visitors and reducing capacity of Neal Fieldhouse for the basketball games on Wednesday, February 16, when the DePauw women host Denison at 6 p.m. and the men take on Wabash at 8 p.m.

Denison and Wabash have been allotted seating through their respective athletic departments to distribute as they prefer and those spectators will be placed on a pass list and required to show ID at entry.

Doors for the women’s game open at 5:30 p.m. Denison spectators should enter the facility through the Neal Fieldhouse lobby and will be seated across from their team bench and along the west baseline.

Wabash spectators will enter the facility at the west entrance (Indiana Street side) beginning at 7:30 p.m. and those needing an accessible entrance will need to use the Neal Fieldhouse lobby. Wabash spectators will be seated behind their team bench and along the west baseline.

To ease the congestion in the Neal Fieldhouse lobby, all DePauw students are asked to enter the Lilly Center through the Lilly Lobby before moving to the Neal Fieldhouse lobby. DePauw students, faculty and staff must show their DePauw ID to enter Neal Fieldhouse. All other DePauw fans should enter at the Neal Fieldhouse lobby with ID.

In order to reduce capacity, DePauw fans, outside of the university community, must email athletics@depauw.edu or call 765-658-4468 to be added to DePauw’s pass list by Noon on February 16. Seating for DePauw fans, outside of the university community, are limited and those spectators will need to enter with an ID as well.

As a reminder, all spectators must be masked; medical/surgical, KN95, KF94, or their equivalent are required regardless of vaccination status.
