Narcan training set for Monday, Feb. 21

With the ability to temporarily reverse an opioid overdose, Narcan (or naloxone) can be an important tool in saving lives of those struggling with addiction.

In the name of saving more lives, the Putnam County Recovery Coalition, Parents of Addicted Loved Ones and Area 30 Career Center Law Enforcement program will be sponsoring free naloxone training at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 21.

The training will take place at Area 30, 1 N. Calbert Way, Greencastle.
