Joyce M. Rust

Joyce M. Rust, 83, of Roachdale, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital.

She was born on March 12, 1938 in Indianapolis to John and Marie Means.

Mrs. Rust graduated from Lawrence Central High School in 1956. She worked for DePauw University for 28 years, retiring in 2005.

She was a member of the Roachdale Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her three grandchildren, Jeremy Rust and wife Lindsey of Zionsville, Jackson Rust of Coatesville, Krista Lewis and husband Eric of Brownsburg, and eight great-grandchildren, Charlie, Archie and Alice Rust of Zionsville, Kylie and Jolie Rust of Coatesville, Brady, Brooks and Bo Lewis of Brownsburg; sister Karen Simmonds of Greenwood; and partner Marvin Kelly of Roachdale.

Preceding her in death were her father and mother, John and Marie Means, husband Evans Rust and son David Rust.

Funeral Services are to be held on Tuesday, March 1 at the Roachdale Presbyterian Church.

Visitation from 10 a.m.-noon with funeral to immediately follow.
