Merkel family appreciates Lip Sync support

Dear Putnam County:

On behalf of Team No. 9, we wish to thank you to everyone who either voted for or sponsored our team for the Lip Sync Battle on Saturday, Feb.12, sponsored by the Putnam County Youth Development Commission and Concepts the Cabinet Shop.

Congratulations to the Fundraiser Extraordinaire team from Central Elementary for raising the most money, and to the Agriculture Team who was declared the winner overall.

We are proud and humbled to have contributed to the event and most of all to the many opportunities that will now be available to serve so many of Putnam County’s children.

We don’t want to miss anyone, but should we have left off your name, please know we are sincerely grateful for your donation, whatever the amount. Again, this was a great evening and while all teams performed admirably, the real winner will be the youth and children of Putnam County and the many services and programs that will be delivered at no cost to our families, for that, we are forever grateful.

If you’ve never participated in this event before, I would encourage you to consider it next year, what a better way to give back to a community we all love!
