While Randy may not have been nominated to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, he was inducted to a higher calling among some of the greatest artists of all time. 

“In spite of ourselves,” Randy will be missed by many, including his wife of 42 wild years (Barb Young) and his “fortunate son,” Ryan. 

Randy was a kind-hearted, “hard working man” who always had a joke on the tip of his tongue. He was cherished by his many friends who — after long nights over shared drinks — became family. 

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by wife Barb, son Ryan and three sisters. 

We know he’s out there living his “rock and roll fantasy,” even though we “wish you were here.” 

A celebration of life will be held at the Elks Lodge in Greencastle on Saturday, March 26 from 2-4 p.m. for the public to share their stories and celebrate the life of a man we all knew and loved.
