Stanley Doyle Clover

Stanley Doyle Clover, 87, of Greencastle, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Hickory Creek at Sunset.

Born Dec. 30, 1934 to the late Leslie Doyle and Helen (Gates) Clover in Pierceton, Ind.

He was a 1953 graduate of Greencastle High School.

Stanley graduated on Feb. 28, 1962 from the National Radio Institute in Washington, D.C., for electronics in radio and television and from the Industrial Training Institute in Chicago as an electronic technician on May 4, 1964.

He was a veteran, having served in the United States Army.

Stanley retired from IBM, Greencastle, where he had worked for 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Phyllis Clover; brothers James and Robert Clover; sister Janice Marie Butler; and sister-in-law Patricia Clover.

Stanley is survived by his companion of 30 years, Lucille Cox.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 9 at Forest Hill Cemetery with interment to follow.

Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
