Family Support Services sets third benefit event April 9

Local residents can make plans to join the third annual Family Support Services of West Central Indiana (FSSWCI) Gone Event.

This year’s theme is Gone Caribbean Cruise. Guests are encouraged to put on their best Caribbean cruise wear and enjoy a relaxing evening with dinner, dancing, auction and more from 6-10 p.m. at Tiger Pointe Country Club on U.S. 231 in Greencastle.

Current sponsors are Huber and Sons Inc., First Financial Bank, Putnam County Hospital, Greencastle Rotary Club, Prime Real Estate Group and Wabash Capital.

Proceeds from the benefit support FSSWCI programs, which serve victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, healthy family education and intervention to eliminate child abuse and neglect, supportive housing, increase access to addiction rehabilitation program and addressing immediate needs in Putnam, Owen, Clay, Montgomery, Parke and Boone counties.
