Garden Fair set Saturday at Fairgrounds

The Putnam County Master Gardener Association will host the 2022 Garden Fair from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, March 19.

Admission is free for the event at the Putnam County Fairgrounds Community Building, 191 N. U.S. 231, Greencastle.

There will be three speakers during the event:

• 10 a.m. – The Mad Botanist, Bill McKnight discussing “Favorite Shrubs for the Midwest”

• 11:30 a.m. – Colletta Kosiba discussing “Annuals are the Costume Jewelry of the Garden”

• 1:30 pm – Nathan Edwards discussing “Cultivating Mushrooms at Home”

Other features include a garden shed sale, kids’ activities, free trees, lots of vendors and booths as well as food for sale.
