Rita D. Allen

Rita D. Allen 87, of Franklin, formerly of Cloverdale, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at the Masonic Home in Franklin.

Born Dec. 15, 1934 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Bill and Minnie (Bingham) Sullivan.

She was a 1952 graduate of Marco High School and was a registered nurse.

Surviving relatives include her children, Philip Allen (Kim) of Wawaka, Ind., and Debra Mitchell of Franklin; and six grandchildren, Derrick Collignon, Malia Collignon, Christian Collignon, Darby Allen, Tate Allen and Tanner Allen.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Vera Cox, Martha Kennedy and Charlotta Kay Oliphant; one brother, Jerry Sullivan; and her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 4 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with officiating. Interment will follow in Newark cemetery in rural Solsberry.

Public visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
