Lorie Hallett-Talbert

Republican Lorie Hallett-Talbert, born and raised in Putnam County, is running for Putnam County Recorder in the upcoming May primary elections.

She has served as Greencastle Township assessor for eight years and Putnam County auditor for eight years.

In 2019, Hallett-Talbert received the Outstanding Supportive Auditor of the Year award from the Indiana Association of County Commissioners. Lorie’s experience in the Auditor’s Office has given her knowledge of the Recorder’s Office software and legal documents, due to the close working relationship between the two offices.

Lorie lives in Greencastle with her husband, Don, and is the mother of two children, Jessica Cochran and Hanna Knowling. Lorie also loves spending time with her five grandchildren.

With her as recorder, Hallett-Talbert says Putnam County residents will enjoy outstanding customer service, as she will always be available to answer questions. She said she will also prioritize the proper maintenance and preservation of documents for a more efficient office and will provide a superior working relationship with the other county offices and the public at large.

Vote for a candidate who requires excellence in her job performance and who strives for that excellence every day. Vote for Lorie Hallett-Talbert.
