Tax bills mailed to Putnam County property owners

Tuesday, April 12, 2022

Putnam County Treasurer Kathy Minnick has announced to all Putnam County property owners that the 2021 payable 2022 tax statements have been mailed.

Due to a material shortage by the manufacturer, the tax bills will not be in pink envelopes this year.

The spring installment is due Tuesday, May 10, and the fall installment is due Thursday, Nov. 10.

Anyone who does not receive a bill may request a duplicate by contacting the Putnam County Treasurer’s Office by phone at 653-4510 or e-mail treasurer.putnamcountyin@gmail.com.

Failure to receive a statement will not relieve you of paying taxes and/or penalties that may be due.

Taxes may be paid at any of the following banks located in Putnam County: First Financial, First National, Old National, North Salem State, Teachers Credit Union or Tri-County.

Those wishing to pay at a bank must have their tax statements with them. The banks will not accept a payment after the due dates.

Taxes may also be paid online at https://enoticesonline.com/put or https://www.govtechtaxpro.com/parceldetail.php?idCounty=15067.

Residents may also pay at the Putnam County Treasurer’s Office, at the drop box located on the east side of the courthouse or by mail to PO Box 508, Greencastle, IN 46135. To ensure a penalty is not added, the envelope must be postmarked on or before the due date.

The Putnam County Treasurer’s Office will accept cash, check, money order or credit/debit cards.
