Zach Bowers

Hello, my name is Zach Bowers and I am seeking the office of the Franklin Township trustee.

I am a lifelong resident of Roachdale and a graduate of North Putnam High School. I have worked the past 20 years in the EMS field and currently am employed by the Brownsburg Fire Territory.

I have previous elected experience as a town council member for the Town of Roachdale for eight years. With this experience I am well versed in the budget process as well as grants.

One of the major responsibilities of the township trustee is to provide financial assistance to those who are truly in need. I will make sure that there is a fair, unbiased application process for each and every application. I will direct individuals to other resources such as energy assistance and local food pantries as needed. I will do all of this while being fiscally responsible with taxpayer dollars.

Another responsibility is to maintain cemeteries. Franklin Township has two cemeteries, the Hartman Cemetery and the Payne Cemetery. I will make certain that these are consistently maintained and kept up with.

I will work with the Township Advisory Board to make sure that we are preparing a budget that meets the needs of the residents and the township all while making sure that it is prepared responsibly.

As your township trustee, I will provide excellent customer service and timely responses to requests for financial assistance. I will work with other agencies in a respectful manner and make sure that we are working together in the best interest for all parties involved.

I would greatly appreciate your vote for the Franklin Township trustee on the Republican Primary Ballot.
