GHS alumni all-class dinner set June 18

It’s always a great day to be a Tiger Cub, but particularly on Saturday, June 18.

That will be the day of the Greencastle alumni all-class dinner and program, back after a two-year absence due to the pandemic.

Doors will open at 4 p.m. with dinner set for 6. Due to construction at the high school and McAnally Center, the event will take place in the Greencastle Middle School cafeteria.

The menu will consist of chicken and noodles, ham, veggie lasagna, green beans, mashed potatoes, salad, desserts and drinks. The cost for the dinner and program is $25 per person, or $30 for those registering after May 31.

The emcee for the evening will be 1996 graduate Jon “Buck” Blue, the alumni association’s very first scholarship recipient.

Not only will the event honor this year’s scholarship recipients, but also the winners from 2020 and 2021.

All graduates are invited to join and reminisce about their good ol’ days at GHS as well as honor those whose academic achievements, extracurricular activities and community involvements have enabled them to earn scholarships through the Greencastle Alumni Dollars for Scholars organization.
