Share the Dream this summer
For any community foundation, it is vital to support the growth of our endowments, ensuring that they can continue to provide for our community for years to come.
This summer, as we have done for nearly 20 years, the Putnam County Community Foundation has invited eligible endowments to participate in our Share the Dream matching gift program in hopes of growing their funds and their impact.
This year, the Share the Dream program will continue supporting our endowments by providing a 50 percent match for all qualifying gifts made between June 1 and July 31 to any of our community partners participating in the program. This means that for every $1 donated, we will add another $0.50 to it. Your donation of $50 turns into $75 to increase the impact that these philanthropic endowments have in our community.
Between 2016-2021, the Share the Dream program raised over $300,000 in philanthropic funds to support Putnam County. You can be a part of the Share the Dream program by donating to a participating endowment before July 31. Participating endowments need gifts of at least $25 from at least 10 households during the Share the Dream matching period to qualify for the matching donation. It is a great time to support these organizations, scholarships and other philanthropic causes.
