Clear Out

Getting in some more training before classes end, Area 30’s fire and rescue students practiced survival techniques last week. Performing a Denver Drill, some of them work in a tight space to get Tyler Adams, acting as unconscious or worse, out through a small window as instructor James Shaw and Kaleb Persinger observe.

Meanwhile, Persinger is hoisted to an opening with hoses simulating rescuing a firefighter who has fallen through a floor.

Part of the last exercise, Nathaniel York swings sideways on a ladder bailing out of a window as Malachi Fish (lower left) and Adams watch.
