Pasch finishes fourth at NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships

GENEVA, OH — DePauw’s Erin Pasch finished fourth in the heptathlon with 5,014 points at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, earning her all-America honors.

Besting last year’s point total by 218, Pasch started day two with 573 points after jumping 5.05m in long jump and followed that with a javelin throw of 37.63m for 622 points. In the final event, the 800-meter run, Pasch ran a personal best, 2:20.04, and picked up 823 points to propel her to fourth place.

Pasch sat in fifth place with 2,996 points after day one of the NCAA Heptathlon Championships.

To start day, one, Pasch earned 886 points after finishing the 100-meter hurdles in 14.67 seconds and added 712 points in high jump with a height of 1.58m. She then scored 563 with a shot put of 10.51m and completed the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.57 for 835 points.
