First Baptist hosts VBS June 6-9

First Baptist Church invites children to Monumental VBS: Celebrating God’s Greatness.

VBS will take place June 6-9 and is open to children age four through fifth grade.

Each evening kicks off with a free meal at 5:45 p.m. followed by VBS from 6:15-8:30 p.m.

At Monumental, kids explore the sunbaked Southwestern desert as they dig into God’s great love. Kids participate in Bible-learning activities, catchy songs, games, collecting Bible Memory Buddies and testing out sciency-fun gizmos that they’ll take home and play with all summer long.

Kids at Monumental VBS will compete to see which crew can bring in the most coins for a missions project to benefit Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child. Samaritan’s Purse collects shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplie, and hygiene items for children around the world.

The community is invited to a free pool party at the Greencastle city pool from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, June 10. Food will be provided.
