Greencastle junior Stuart Nichols (front) finished 27th overall in the 100-meter dash at Saturday’s IHSAA Boys’ Track and Field State Finals held at Indiana University’s Robert C. Haugh Track Complex. Racing in the fourth heat of the finals, Nichols finished his junior season with a time of 11.51. Evansville Reitz Memorial’s Anthony Brodie won the event with a time of 10.57. Plainfield won the state title over Hendricks County rivals Brownsburg 61-47.
