Michael H. Stansbery Sr.

Michael H. Stansbery Sr., 79, of Cloverdale, passed away on Nov. 2, 2021. He was taken to Methodist Hospital on Aug. 24, 2021.

He was born March 24, 1942 in Indianapolis to the late Harry and Alzettia (Crail) Stansbery.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Judith (Haslet) Stansbery; his children, Michael Jr. (Rebecca) Stansbery of Arlington, Tenn., and Scott (Shari) Stansbery of Plainfield; grandchildren Ryan, April (Dallas) Thigpen, Chance, Brandon, Scott (Casey) Stansbery, Maddison (Kenzie), Ajay and Kevin Stansbery; and great-grands Hayden Stansbery and Dakota Thigpen.

He was preceded in death by brother Jack (Ruth) Stansbery and his parents.

Mike graduated from Warren Central High School in Indianapolis in 1960. He served in the U.S. Navy as a mechanic stationed at Brunswick, Me., from 1963 to 1967.

Memorial service will be June 25 at Cloverdale United Methodist Church downstairs from 2-5 p.m.
