McManama serving as Women of the Moose grand regent
Cletus Ann McManama currently serves the Women of the Moose as the grand regent. She was appointed to this position at Moose International Conference in Cincinnati on July 4,2021.
This is an international appointment from Moose International and is the top Women of the Moose position in the U.S., Canada and Great Britain.
McManama joined the Women of the Moose in August 1989 in Greencastle Chapter 138, where she holds a Life Membership. She has served her chapter as senior regent, recorder, as well as other offices and various chairman positions.
She has also held appointments from Moose International, including Grand Council from 2016-18, president of the College of Regents Board from 2012-13 and past deputy grand regent 1999-2000.
All the while, she has remained an active member of her chapter.
Cletus currently serves Indiana as chapter advocate and previously was deputy regional manager from 2004-09.
A member of the 175 division of the Moose 25 Club, she earned her Academy of Friendship in 1992, College of Regents in June 1995 and Star Recorder Degree in June 2001.
An open house will be held in her honor on Saturday, June 18 from 2-4 p.m. at the Moose Family Center, 212 W. Franklin St., Greencastle. The community is invited to help in the celebration.
McManama is past president of the VFW Auxiliary and a past deaconess for the First Baptist Church. Aside from her Moose activities, she enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her family.
Cletus and husband Robert reside in Greencastle. They have five grown children, 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
