Riding for Charlie

Though the weather was a bit iffy earlier in the morning, local motorcycle enthusiasts are excited to roll out of Fillmore as the eighth-annual Charlie Johnston Memorial Ride gets under way Saturday. The trip is made in memory of the Fillmore volunteer firefighter who was killed in a collision in 2013. Proceeds from the event will go to the Lakeland Center, which focuses on research with therapeutic horseback riding.
