County Jail

Several people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Thursday

• At 12:20 a.m. Matthew Montgomery, 44, Coatesville, was taken into custody for domestic battery.

Wednesday

• At 2:36 p.m. Cody D. Felty, 28, Brazil, was housed at the jail for sexual misconduct with a minor.

Tuesday

• At 6:27 p.m. Jon R. Kennedy, 56, Cloverdale, was booked in for possession of methamphetamine and driving while intoxicated.

• At 4:34 p.m. Jaylen Martin, 20, Indianapolis, was lodged at the jail for counterfeiting, battery, possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license with a prior.

• At 3:06 p.m. Kabraun P. Stone, 21, Arlington, Texas, was taken into custody for counterfeiting.

• At 3:03 p.m. Erin E. Caine, 38, Greencastle, was housed at the jail on a Clark County warrant.

• At 5:21 a.m. Casey C. Storkman, 28, Greencastle, was booked in for invasion of privacy.

Monday

• At 10:59 p.m. Brock A. Hall, 30, Brazil, was lodged at the jail for false informing.

• At 10:28 p.m. Troy A. Wells, 29, Indianapolis, was taken into custody for theft and driving with a suspended license with a prior conviction.

• At 6:47 p.m. Kelvin D. Williams, 19, Shreveport, La., was housed at the jail on a Louisiana warrant.

• At 11:07 a.m. Kristie C. Walker, 50, Greencastle, was booked in for driving while intoxicated endangering a person.

• At 10:38 a.m. Michelle L. Rickey, 50, Greencastle, was lodged at the jail on an out-of-county warrant.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to two dispatches between Monday afternoon and Wednesday evening:

• At 4:25 p.m. on Monday, GFD was dispatched to Pence House on the DePauw University campus for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 4:30 and determined that the detector had malfunctioned due to water inside it. GFD went back into service at 4:39 p.m.

• At 6:39 p.m. on Wednesday, GFD was dispatched to 420 Anderson St. for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 6:44 and determined the alarm was due to cooking. The alarm was reset. GFD went back into service at 6:52 p.m.

Additionally, GFD performed four medical assists and had one disregard during this timeframe.
