DePauw swimming program offering lessons

DePauw University will offer swim lessons to the community from Aug. 29 through Sept. 15. Deadline to register is Friday, Aug. 26.

From water exploration to stroke technique for competitive swimming, the program is accepting all skill levels.

The instructors are current members of the DePauw men’s and women’s swimming teams, each with several years of competitive swimming background and certified lifeguards each with experience teaching swim lessons.

Lessons are open to those age four and up in a one-on-one or two-on-one (two students, one instructor) format. Cost is $100 for the full three-week session, with discouts for multiple family members or two-on-one lessons.
