Terra Lynn Straight

Terra Lynn Straight, 67, of Greencastle, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, July 6, 2022.

Terra was born in Greencastle on Nov. 28, 1954, the daughter of Von Everett and Laura (Dennis) York.

She attended Greencastle High School.

Mrs. Straight worked for more than 20 years as a manager with Walmart in Show Low, Ariz.

Survivors include her two children, Cathy Sutton and Jarold Evens (wife Angela); five brothers, Allen York, John York (wife Tammy), Richard York (wife Nonie), Charlie York (wife Brandy) and Chris York; three sisters, Gloria Eiteljorge (husband Dan), Lana Ireland (husband Floyd) and Brenda Wood (husband John); five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of more than 20 years, David Straight; and a son-in-law, William Sutton.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 21 at the Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery.
