Taste of Putnam County to take place this Friday
The Putnam County Chamber will once again host the Taste of Putnam County during Main Street Greencastle’s First Friday event in September.
From 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 2, all are invited to come out and enjoy a night of food, music and fun with family and friends.
The live music will include Jennie DeVoe on the north courthouse stage.
There will be children’s activities in addition to the live music and great food to enjoy.
For the September First Friday, Prime Real Estate will have Big Bounce activities for all to enjoy.
To take part in the Taste, participants purchase tickets for $2 each and use them to buy food samples to eat. The fare will include barbecue, fresh food from the DePauw Campus Farm, dessert from some local farmers market vendors and many more options.
As always, First Friday will be centered on Greencastle Courthouse Square, with events taking place along Franklin and Indiana streets.
