Betty Naomi Mishler

Betty Naomi Mishler, 83, of Greencastle, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023 surrounded by her family.

She was born March 28, 1939 in Newberry, the daughter of Clarence and Bessie Naomi (Fish) Rollins. She attended school in Switz City and Marco, graduating from Marco High School in 1957.

Betty retired from Old National Bank and had previously worked at P.R. Mallory’s. She was a member of the Hanna Street Baptist Church for more than 50 years, teaching Sunday school at the church for several years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Richard Mishler; brothers, Gene (Lila) Rollins and Larry Rollins; sister JoeAnna (Bob) Henderson; and grandson Michael David Jones.

Betty is survived by her husband of 66 years Warren Mishler; daughters Kathy (Larry) Jones and Rita (Jim) Jackson; sisters Rosemary Hatfield and Dorothy Harkins; brothers Darrell (Mary Ann) Rollins and George (Chris) Rollins; grandchildren Tiffany (Trent) Boswell, Ashley (Colt) Underwood, Misty Jones, Levi (Samantha) Jones, Brandy (partner T. White) Jones, Ben Mishler, Jordan Mishler, Daniel Mishler and Cindy Mishler Spieth; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Betty.
