Barbara S. Higgins

Barbara S. Higgins, 82, Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023.

She was born Feb. 4, 1941 to the late Richard and Mamie (Morgan) Jackson.

Barbara married Charles Higgins on Aug. 29, 1959, and he preceded her in death May 17, 2014.

She is survived by her children, DeElla Keith of Terre Haute, Charles Higgins and wife Stacey of Cloverdale, Terry Tuttle and husband Bob of Greencastle, Tina Spencer and husband Fred of Bainbridge, Robert Higgins of Greencastle and Heather Fauber and husband Brian of Greencastle. Mrs. Higgins had 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by sister Margaret Boswell.

Funeral services for Barbara will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, May 22 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service time of 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
