On Friday May 26, 2023, Janice Ferrand, at the age of 67, with the love of her life Frank and her daughter Joanna holding her hands, this beautiful soul decided to stop showing dementia who’s boss and grabbed hold of God’s hand and went to her heavenly home, where her parents (Kenny Ferrand and Norris Sears), grandparents, dear friends Diane and Eddie were all waiting for her with open arms.

She was the hardest-working woman ever and expected everyone else to work just as hard.

She worked hard, played hard, loved hard and fought hard.

She owned and ran a very successful business, The Bainbridge Tap, with her husband Frank for many years and then by herself for several years before she retired.

Janice is survived by the absolute love of her life, Frank Williams, the two were married on May 10, 1980 and divorced and after a few years her and the greatest love of her life found their way back together and spent her remaining years together smiling, laughing, spending time with family and friends.

Janice is also survived by her loving stepmother, Peggy Ferrand; her stepfather, Jack Sears; her hardworking and loving brothers, Kenny Ferrand and his beautiful wife Kathy, Bill Ferrand and his beautiful wife Susie and Charlie Ferrand; her hardworking, loving sister who was also by Janice’s side through this horrible disease trying to make her days the best they could be, Reta Ferrand-Cortrecht and her husband Rick; Janice raised 2 wonderful children, her beautiful, caring and loving daughter Joanna Tincher Polly who cared for her mom every day for the last three years, and her hardworking and loving son Artie Tincher (Ginger); Janice loved her two children so much and they will miss her dearly; her stepson Jerry Williams; her amazing grandchildren, Damon Glaze (Brittany), Darion Sillery, Meagan Crowder, Michaela Tincher (Austin), Jerry Williams Jr. (Taylor), Angel Williams, Jaxx Williams, Max Williams and Aiden; and great-grandchildren Maverick, Salem, Hudson, Kason, Bryar, Lyam, Cooper, Oakley, Alaric and Emmy. She is also survived by six stepbrothers, and two stepsisters and several very special nieces and nephews. Janice was blessed with her very best friend since childhood Brenda Hutto, who will miss Janice dearly.

The family is celebrating Janice’s amazing and way-too-short life on Saturday June 3 from 5-9 p.m. at her favorite place, her and Frank’s beautiful farm, 3676 E. CR 500 North, Greencastle, at the pond. The family will be scattering her remains at sunset with a lighting lantern ceremony. Flowers and cards can be sent to Frank Williams, 3676 E.
