With their organization named first runner-up at the ninth-annual Hoosier Heartland State Bank Shared Vallues Awards recently, Isaiah 117 House of Putnam County representatives (from left) Rissa Shepherd, Martha Barnett, Sarah McDaniel and Adele Sprinkles claim a $2,500 donation. For the Shared Values Awards, Hoosier Heartland asks for the public’s nominations of non-profits that share the same values and vision by which the bank operates. Approximately 600 nominations were received nominating 80 different organizations in Montgomery and Putnam counties and beyond. Once opened, Isaiah 117 House will focus on changing the way foster care begins for children in Putnam County and surrounding areas. During the event, Hoosier Heartland donated at total of $50,000 to 13 area non-profit organizations.
