Cloverween Fall Festival set Sept. 28
CLOVERDALE — The annual Cloverween Fall Festival is back on Saturday, Sept. 28, promising a day filled with fun, festivities and community spirit.
The 2024 event will kick off with the Monster Dash 5K Fun Run at 9 a.m., followed by the Cloverween parade at 11 a.m. and the festival itself from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Cloverdale High School.
The festival will feature a wide range of activities for all ages:
• Costume Contest: Starting at noon, the costume contest invites participants to showcase their Halloween creativity with prizes for the best costumes.
• Dunk Tank: Take a shot at the dunk tank and support our local fire and police departments.
• Vendor Booths and Food: Browse local vendor booths and enjoy a variety of food options.
• Music & Entertainment: Enjoy live music that will keep the festive atmosphere buzzing.
• Cake Walk and Scavenger Hunt: Engage in classic festival games with a chance to win prizes.
• Pumpkin Painting: Get creative with pumpkin painting, perfect for kids and adults.
• Face Painting and Character Appearances: Bring the little ones for face painting and meet some of their favorite characters.
• Petting Zoo: Visit the petting zoo for a fun, interactive experience with friendly animals.
• Bounce House & Glow-in-the-Dark Putt-Putt Golf: Keep the kids entertained with a bounce house and don’t miss the glow-in-the-dark putt-putt golf for some unique blacklight fun.
This year, the Cloverween parade will be led by the Gilman family, longtime contributors to the festival. Their dedication has helped shape Cloverween into the beloved event it is today.
“All we need is you,” said Marcy Marksberry, president of Cloverdale Main Street. “Cloverween is a celebration of community, and we’re excited to bring everyone together for a day of fun and festivities.”
