Mr. Carrington was born Nov. 10, 1934, in Russellville to Earnest and Carleen (James) Carrington. He was a 1952 graduate of Roachdale High School, and had been a truck driver for Mayflower Trucking for 40 years...

Terrell Britton, 52, Greencastle, was on his way to his initial hearing Thursday afternoon when he suffered a seizure on the courthouse steps. Britton is charged with 14 counts of child molestation. He was arrested Monday on these charges, but did not have a court date until today...

Putnam County residents who have any flood damage need to notify Emergency Manager Kim Hyten. "Even if you only have $1,000 in carpet damage, let us know," said Hyten who is applying for federal aid for the county. Right now, without flood waters completely receded, the full amount of damage cannot be finalized...

Two veteran performers will be dancing Saturday at a recital of students from the Dance Arts Academy, Stilesville. Kimberly Johnson has 18 years of dance training in ballet, and recently began studying jazz and tap. Johnson is the daughter of Cleve and Deborah Johnson.
